FACILITY MANAGEMENT

RAI currently operates and manages three client computer data centers. We provide around the clock services for multiple operating and application systems. We can provide this type of turn-key service to your company, whether it is a data center, telecommunications center or a video teleconferencing facility. We can also provide help desk services, locally or remotely, and assist you with the outsourcing of information technology functions currently being performed in-house. SYSTEM DESIGN AND DEVELOPMENT

The design and development of successful information technology systems requires the detailed determination of requirements, the total involvement of users and commitment of management. The initial system design effort, accomplished correctly, will eliminate most common problems associated with new systems, such as cost overruns and schedule delays. RAI has engineered IT systems from scratch for a wide variety of customers in both the public and private sectors.

DATABASE DESIGN AND DEVELOPMENT

RAI has designed and developed a wide variety of relational database management systems for large and small organizations. For example, RAI managed the structural design and systems programming support for an ORACLE-based database over sixteen gigabytes in size, and has designed and/or developed payroll, membership and voter registration systems used in conjunction with commercially available desktop software.

ACQUISITION MANAGEMENT

Because RAI does not sell hardware or software systems, we can serve in the capacity of honest broker, before, during and after acquisition. Legacy system evaluation, workload analysis, solicitation preparation, decision support documentation and independent validation and verification are all activities for which our track record is proven. We have long-standing familiarity with the procurement regulations that govern the federal marketplace, and we recognize the realities of budget limitations in the private sector.

PROGRAMMING

RAI has been providing system-level and application-specific programming support to our clients since 1991. Specification development, screen design, coding, profiling, prototyping, testing, debugging and validation are all capabilities that RAI has and will successfully provide. We specialize in the migration of legacy systems to new environments and the integration of old and new assets for cost-effective solutions.

DATA/RECORDS MANAGEMENT

Nothing is more important to a company than the currency, accuracy and protection of the data by which the organization functions. RAI can provide data modeling, modernization, standardization, conversion, import/export, migration, storage, retrieval and warehousing services over the entire data life-cycle.

BUSINESS PROCESS RE-ENGINEERING

RAI can break down the components of each of your business areas, identify relationships and dependencies, and relate activities to goals and objectives. We can perform a "critical success factor" analysis on each business area and identify new and/or revised processes that will reduce risk, improve operations and make significant contributions to your success.

RESOURCE MANAGEMENT

RAI provides our clients with tools, techniques and services to better manage fiscal, material and human resources. We have developed configuration management plans for data centers; provided planning, programming and budgeting assistance; and developed and implemented staffing and training programs. We currently operate and maintain enterprise-wide inventory control systems and have developed logistic support plans for several dozen multi-million dollar programs.
